pumpkin spice face scrub

It’s pumpkin season, which means everything has to be pumpkin, including your beauty products, duh. This scrub can be altered to be a mask if a scrub ain’t what you’re feelin (or do both that’d be a real treat). This potion is so delicious you could eat it, but maybe don’t.

pumpkin has vitamin a, coconut oil is hella nourishing, sugar gets rid of the dead skin, and cinnamon brings the blood to the surface (also pumpkin SPICE). so you’re welcome.

1 tablespoon pumpkin purée (canned is fine, we ain’t fancy)

2 tablespoons coconut oil (raw and cold pressed ideally)

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

3 tablespoons sugar (the kind with big chunks.. granulated?)

1. in a small jar melt coconut oil in a bain au marie (hot water bath)

2. mix in pumpkin

3. let it cool to ice ice baby (jk not ice, room temp.)

4. mix in the sugar and cinnamon

5. put it on your face and scrub

6. wash it off

7. that’s it.

note: if you’d like it to be a mask instead of a scrub; omit the sugar, and after the mixture has cooled, add an egg white, put it on your face, and wash off after 10 mins.

here’s my beautiful face:
